Outline fully supports realtime collaborative editing, up-to 100 team members can edit the same document at once (although, we probably don’t recommend it!). Each character typed and change made is automatically saved and synchronized with other team members and tabs that might be viewing the same document in realtime. There is no need to save explicitly.

When other users are in the same document you will see their cursor and selection appear as a colored caret. Hovering over this caret will display their name.

Observer mode

At the top of the document you can click on another user that is live editing to follow their position as they move about the document. This can be particularly useful during meetings or live calls as an alternative to screen-sharing, which would use much more bandwidth.
