# Export documents

You can individual documents in several formats. **HTML**, **Markdown**, or **PDF** format are all supported - In each case the document content is adjusted to best fit the export type.

# How to

You can access the “Export” option from the [command menu](/doc/navigation-Nxnr2lWbck) or the “…” menu on any document. There is also a handy “Copy as Markdown” option available in the command menu.

# Limitations

* Only the current state of the document is included, historic versions can be downloaded through the history navigation.
* Comments will not be included
* Large tables may not fit on the page, in the case of PDF and printing specifically.
* PDF export is only available in cloud and licensed editions.
