Table of contents
Every document has a table of contents that’s automatically generated and kept up-to-date based on the headings in the document.
Visibility
If you’d prefer not to see the contents it can be toggled from the button in the header breadcrumb after the document title. You can also use the keyboard shortcut ctrl
+alt
+h
to quickly toggle the contents on and off at any time.
Position
By default the Table of Contents is displayed on the left of the document content, however this can be changed by any admin as a workspace setting under Settings → Display.
The contents is “sticky” to the top of the screen, so on long documents it will stay always visible as you scroll down the page.
