Toggles

A toggle block is a collapsible section that hides or reveals content, perfect for organizing notes, FAQs, or long explanations to keep documents clean and focused. The state of toggles usually starts closed (unless you created it), so the page is minimal for first-time readers and they can opt-in to seeing more content.

Usage

You can create a toggle with the keyboard by typing +++ followed by space or through the slash menu by searching /toggle . You can also select some text and then choose the toggle icon in the menu.

When editing the content you can use Tab or Shift-Tab to move in and out of the block. The first line will always act as the title and can be either a heading or a paragraph.

To open or close a toggle with the keyboard use CMD+Enter with the cursor focused within the block.

Find and replace

The CMD+F find functionality works inside toggles, if the content you searched for can be found inside of a toggle block it will automatically be opened.
